Bonner: Perry Township Awarded Grant Funding for Plant Road Culvert Replacement

GROVE CITY – Rep. Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler) applauded the efforts of Perry Township to secure $100,000 in grant funding through the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) to replace a culvert on Plant Road.

“Investing in infrastructure, like culverts, is an investment in the safety, sustainability, and future of our communities,” said Bonner. “Proper funding today prevents costly repairs and disasters tomorrow and I am pleased to see this investment made for Perry Township.”

The funding comes from the Multimodal Transportation Fund under the Commonwealth Financing Authority, which manages the state’s economic stimulus programs. The fund provides grants to encourage economic development and ensure a safe and reliable system of transportation is available in the Commonwealth.
