Bonner to Host Veterans Day Breakfast Celebrating Service and Sacrifice

October 24, 2025

HARRISBURG – Rep. Tim Bonner (R-Mercer/Butler) is hosting a special Veterans Day breakfast to honor every man and woman who has served in the miliary, and to remember those who never came home. All veterans and active-duty military service people and a guest are welcome to the event free of charge.

The free breakfast takes place on Tuesday, Nov. 11, from 9:30-11 a.m. at the John Huff American Legion Post 220, 1946 Mercer Grove City Road, Grove City.

“As a representative sworn to uphold and protect the Constitution, I am often reminded of the essential role each man or woman plays when they put on the uniform to serve our nation,” Bonner said. “This breakfast is a way to say thank you and recognize the courage, sacrifice and dedication of our veterans.”

Retired Brigade Command Sergeant Major (CSM-R) Bernard Grenier, director of Mercer County Department of Veterans Affairs, will be the featured speaker. Grenier served in both the U.S. Marine Corps and the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for more than 30 years.

“It is an honor to have CSM-R Grenier as our featured speaker,” Bonner said. “He has a decorated military career and continues to serve our community by supporting veterans through his work with the Mercer County Department of Veterans Affairs. I am looking forward to his remarks.”

All veterans and active-duty military who attend are welcome to bring a guest to the complimentary event. Anyone planning to attend should register in advance by either calling Bonner’s Grove City Office at 724-458-4911 or visiting his website, RepBonner.com, and clicking on the “Events” tab. The deadline to register is Wednesday, Nov. 5.
